Rocking Red Music Fest

Enjoy music, food, drinks, games and support the Little Red Schoolhouse

Music Fest is back!!

The Lawrence Community Nursery School is celebrating our 75th Anniversary this year! Often referred to as the Little Red School House, LCNS is the 2nd oldest preschool co-op in the country. 

 

To celebrate, LCNS is reviving a tradition that’s been on pause for the past 3 years: Rockin’ Red Music Fest, a free community event with music, food, and fun activities for the whole family. The event, on April 30 in South Park (gazebo side), will be the capstone event of our larger 2023 fundraising campaign.

Music Fest is free to enter and includes:

  • 6 Entertainment Acts

  • Interactive Percussion Room

  • Bubble Ropes

  • Go Fish

  • Face Painting 

  • Temporary Tattoos

  • Bean Bag Toss 

  • Bounce House

  • Silent Auction

  • and more!

 

Food and drink will be available to purchase from Burger Bus, Sugar Bus, and Free State Beer.

 

Our goal is to raise $25,000. With this money we will be able to:

  • Provide scholarships for 10 families (’23-’24 school year)

  • Provide bonuses for our hardworking teachers (4 teachers)

  • Update supplies, increase savings for building or equipment repairs/replacements
