Through the hard work and dedication of our current and alumni families, LCNS has met the needs of children and families for over 70 years. We are proud of the friendships, supportive environment and history that make LCNS a vibrant cooperative community. When you contribute to LCNS, you can see your money at work each day supporting children and families through scholarships, development of programs, maintenance of our much-loved building and a creative curriculum. And glitter... lots and lots of glitter!!
Donations
Donations can be made via check or Paypal. Direct donations support our daily operations, including our scholarship fund, but they may also be designated for a specific purpose by the donor, such as new playground equipment, teacher bonuses, etc. As a federally recognized 501(c)(03), contributions made to LCNS are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by federal law.

Dine Out for LCNS
We frequently host percentage nights at local restaurants, where we receive a percentage of sales on a certain day and time. It's an easy and fun way to support your school, while enjoying a great meal for the family, and supporting a local restaurant! You won't find a better excuse to dine out for a good cause!

Shop Local with EZ$!
Our Easy Money! Program sells gift certificates for local stores at face value (ex. you pay $100, you get a $100 gift card). LCNS receives a 5-6% discount on the cards we purchase in bulk. That savings adds up quickly and is a significant source of supplemental funding for our school.

Donate to the LCNS Endowment
Donations to the LCNS Endowment Fund will help ensure LCNS is here for years to come. Endowed funds are managed by the Douglas Country Community Foundation and their use is restricted. The income from these invested funds help keep LCNS on solid financial footing. Contributions to endowment can be made directly to LCNS with a designation of “Endowment”.
