2025-2026 August job position
Lawrence Community Nursery School, a parent-run cooperative preschool, is looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant to join our incredible staff, beginning August 2025. The hours will be 12:30pm - 5pm on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, with the possibility for more hours. The pay range for the position is $14.50 - $16.00 per hour, starting pay determined by education and experience. Paid sick, holiday and vacation hours also provided. In teaching our children, ages 2.5-6, we emphasize five major areas: social development, creativity, language, knowledge of the world around us, and large and small motor development. The children learn through a variety of experiences and activities. We emphasize creative and social skills. We are looking for someone who loves and has experience working with young children. Early Childhood Education coursework and experience is preferred.
